a-arm bushings (frozen to a-arm)

I pulled the lower a-arms last night. Not too hard, although I admit that buying the saab standard spring shims would have been a good idea several years ago - the frame where the upper a-arms rests is starting to deform slightly.
A torch was the magic touch for the tie-rod ends. After heating for 5 minutes they popped right out of the knuckle.
I can't seem though to get the mounting brackets off of the passenger side a-arm. The driver's side popped right off, but on the remaining arm it looks like the metal sleeve on the inside of the bushing has corroded to the a-arm threads.
Any good dieas on how to remove this SOB? My current plan is to try a long gear puller to pull the bushing off the a-arm.
