power windows not working, low voltage Posted by Bryan [Email] (#542) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Bryan) on Fri, 22 Apr 2005 18:00:39 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I haven't managed to fix the power windows on my 1993 900T although I haven't tried to hard. I revisited the problem today and found low voltage at the connector going into the switch pack (9.5 volts switch on, 10.5 volts engine on). Voltage at the fuse was 11.86 with the switch on/engine off. I'm guessing this is enough of a voltage drop to cause the windows to be inop?
Both window motors come on but the windows won't move. (previous post - http://saabnet.com/tsn/bb/900/index.html?bID=290295)
thanks for any ideas with this.
