First guess would be squealing dry/worn belts for alternator/water pump, A/C compressor or power steering pump.
You can buy a spray can of belt dressing at an auto store and spray on the belts while the sound is there. If it quites down instantly, you know it is the belt area.
Next guess would be the crank pulley/harmonic balancer that drives those belts. The crank pulley is made up of two pieces bonded together with rubber, the rubber dries out and pulley seperates.
Third guess would be clutch throw out bearing. Does the sound change when pressing the clutch pedal?
