It is only on the 87 and older distributors that you can find and replace the black connector housing (90° angled connector)as a seperate spare part.

The 88 and up have a 3 pin connector sticking straight out of the distributor housing and for some odd reason it is not possible to find that connector from any sources even though Bosch still make the connector.
You can still buy rebuilt distributors with that 88 and up connector installed so I don't know why it seems so impossible to find just the black connector seperate.
It is also no rebuild kits available for the 88 and up distributor.

The other odd thing is that Bosch has only printed part of the number on the connector (the last three digits are missing) which makes it very difficult to search for it.

The partial number is 1230329???
The first 7 digits are only a generic number placing the part within the distributor connector group so the three missing digits are cruicial to be able to narrow it down to the right one.

As an example.
The "almost look alike" connector for a Volvo have Bosch number 1230329024 but cannot be used in the Saab distributor.
