Fuel in oil + oil leak = possible fire hazzard?

Considering that there is fuel in the oil and I have an oil leak at the front oil seal that shoots oil all over the engine when it hits the pulley... I'm thinking that there may be a danger of fire when it hits that hot engine or am I being overly paranoid?

Aside from the FPR that must be bad, what else is going on in this scenario?
About a week+ ago my 86' 16-v turbo started to make noise from under the boot. That noise lasted a few days then stopped, I'm thinking that it was the fuel pre-pump.

After a friends suggestion I used a fuel cleaner called Greased lightning. The following day my oil light came on so I got the car home and checked the oil. Lo' and behold the oil level was fine but there was a strong smell of gasoline. The car still runs fine and drives well. After a couple of more drives the oil light has been intermittent.

Did that fuel cleaner shake something loose and push that failing FPR over the edge?

Is the pre-pump also failing?

I recently replaced some missing and broken vacuum hose's which brought the apc from sitting at the top of the white to hitting mid yellow and that seems to be when these other problem started. I'm not sure what all is failing and what is merely just coincidental here.

What are the dangers here? Any advice is appreciated.
