Not too tough Posted by Ken [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: dash lights, Josh91900, Fri, 6 May 2005 10:23:40 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Pull the ashtray and take out the 4 screws holding the bracket for the ashtray. The bulb is accesible and easily replaced. as for the other dash lights, some can be reached after you pull the radio and receiving cage. I removed the dash fascia wcich allowed me to replace all the bulbs, and check the vacuum lines to the air distribution switch. Time consuming, but not that difficult. Instructions are in the Bentley. All the bulbs are the same number. 194 I think, but don't quote me.
This removal also gives you access to the dash light dimmer. If that acts up all the lights go out. You can repair/replace it, or short the leads out and have the lights on full brightness (which as we know are not that bright.)
Good luck!
