Update #1:

From last week, brake light on my wife's 89 900s. Brake light switch changed and the bolster back in. All works great now. Thanks guys for all of the input. I do have one suggestion to make things a little easier to re-bolt the knee bolster. The drivers side bolt is a big PITA to get out/in because the fuse box is in the way. I replaced the bolt with a slotted head bolt and used my screw holding screwdriver to get it in place. After that I used a long screwdriver to put it in good and tight! That brake light switch is very fragile for the application, I think. Other comments?

Update #2:

From a about 3 months ago. I was asking for ideas on belt extenders, well the problem is solved! I lost 35 pounds on Weight Watchers and now the belts fit! No problem!

This board is great, thanks a lot for all of the timely input! Oh, and I actually got to drive her car! It is a great running car and I think I'll try to find a turbo, convertible for myself!
