Fro top screw on switch - look underneath the metal frame which the turn signal & wiper stalks mount to. Should find 2 Torx screws which hold the frame up. Remove 2 screws, lower frame, do your work.
If the "switch internals" are electrical, use dielectric grease. If not, most any all-temp grease should work fine.
