That's a lot of breakdowns and repairs.
One concern I have after last over heating is if the piston rings took a beating?
Especially since you are planning to cram even more out of the engine now when it is older.
I would go ahead and use the new bolts that you got but I would also do a leak down test of each cylinder before I put it together, but that's just me trying to be safe then sorry plus that I have the equipment to do it whenever I need to.
A lot of shops don't use leak down testing and not all have the block off plate to test just each cylinder and piston when head is off.
