Very carefully use a prybar between the bucket and the black spacer that goes into the back of the reflector part of the head light assembly.
If you look at it, the black spacer have a sliver of white plastic on the edge and an adjuster steel bolt going into it. You need to seperate the steel bolt from the white/black part of head light using a prying tool.
The problem though can be when the busket is old and brittle, it might crack.
A brand new bucket and reflector is much more pliable and can take abuse like that but old parts might not hold up.
When installing, you mount the bucket on the car and place the reflector over the three steel rods protruding out from bucket and push slowly until the round tip of steel rod pops into the black/white spacer.
I always replace those white inserts (P/N 9512328) when dealing with used parts, they go bad trying to seperate the two pieces.
