Unbelievable but true - I actually removed the clutch and slave using the fat nut and wire bucket handle technique as described here. A set of vise grips holding the plate against its housing helped wheedle it out in its final few inches across the flywheel face. What a PITA manuevering it over the positioning pins and clearing the starter as I angled it up and across to the passenger side.

Now I'm waiting for the O-ring kit from eeuroparts - i received the motor mount and bracket and the shaft cover seal.... but where are my o-rings!!!

Let me back up - Im in this DIY 'cuz fluid was leaking from the hole below the flywheel(and I have ZERO clutch pedal) after prolonged driving on a bad motor mount and trying to ride the clutch to ease it into gear to prevent the engine from bashing against the underside of the hood, again..... My assumption is/was that by riding the clutch I put too much stress on the slave rings and compromised them somewhere.

So now the slave is here on my desk and, looking at it I see one O-ring in the base of the slave.......
1. Where is the other o-ring ???
2. Does the slave piston extract from the slave housing ???
3. I've looked for DougM's link and checked the townsend site but fail to find the description of this process tho I know i've seen it here before with pictures... somewhere
4. Could I be wrong about why I was leaking fluid here and have a problem with the slave other than failed O-rings?
