A couple of possibilities:
- The fuel pressure regulator has failed and it's dumping gas, either through a ruptured diaphragm sending gas through the vacuum hose to the intake manifold, or the spring has weakened letting too much pressure go to the fuel rail
- The boots connecting the turbo-to-intercooler or intercooler-to-throttle-body have loose hose clamps or they've been nibbled on by mice.
If it ran well before you put it away for the winter, I'd suspect the rubber boots first then, if those are OK, suspect the FPR.
