Honestly, there is nothing worse than selling a car cheap. And $1.5K is relatively cheap. All the loonies come out of the woodwork. Most of the folks aren't looking for a Saab as much as they are looking for a cheap ride, and it doesn't matter if it says Saab or Chevy. It's for that reason I donated my last car to charity rather than go through the hassle.
You'll bend your life around for folks that never show, folks that show up, drive your car, and vanish from the face of the earth as if abducted by aliens.
The best I can say is keep at it. Eventually someone with two neurons to rub together will come by, and the car will be gone.
The best I can recommend is if your not in a big hurry, only schedule visits when you plan on being around - that way, it's no big dissapointment when they don't show. If they ask if you'll take less, say that it's negotiable and stop there. If they ask how low, say that unless he's ready to offer a firm price over the phone without seeing the car, you're really not in a position to talk.
