Believe it or not, a new radiator does wonders! I just replaced mine last weekend and the temp gauge stays around the lower 1/3 now. I also replaced the water pump and thermostat while I had the coolant drained. It has made a HUGE difference. I did all the work in about 5 hours so it's a somewhat easy Saturday morning project. It's amazing how gummed up an old radiator can become, granted my car had the original factory radiator in it and it's an '83 900T, but an 11 year old radiator like Cameron's could be gummy too.
