So it's permanently disengaged?
Simple thing first... Snap off the little rectangle plug & watch the slave cylinder pushing aginst the throw-out bearing. Does it move? Can you see anything broken?
It's a bit annoying to take off the entire plastic cover over the flywheel & clutch. But compared to any other car in the world, it's so easy to get a nice full view of the clutch.
If the clutch (output) shaft is turning, next you can check the primary chain out against the radiator. Then ... bad news. If all that stuff is turning properly I guess you can start worrying about pinion bearings.
