I'd stay away from the pyle of..
Stay with a good brand it will last a whole lot longer.

I say use your hatch either either a box in the trunk or
a mounted in the rear deck.
Subs not rated for open air use are no good in the rear deck with no boxes.
I'd bet open air subs would sound okay with a 50 watt amp.
100w per saab and 50 watt per small speaker set is a better target.
More power is nice for options, but you gotta price the whole system, including cable.
If space isn't the most important consideration I'd go with a system
and not bazooka.

I've gotten good gear from ebay, new on clearance.
At half price.

As to the buzzing, most decent 4" will buzz with even a bass blocker at moderate volume.
Some component speakers will fair better. The bass blockers have too big a slope, the 250hz hi pass will let enough sub 100hz bass through to buzzz most small speaker at moderate volume.
So it's worth using a external amp with line crossovers for all speakers. That should better eliminate buzzing, or custom speaker level ones would also work.

Don't skimp on the wire, 16 gauge speaker and 8 gauge power on opposite sides of the car and all should be fine.

Currently I have Rockford 4"s, separate tweeters, with the rockford speaker level crossover.
New clearance ebay for $60 + ship.
Blown MTX subs in rear deck: free
Sony 50x4 rms amp in trunk: 70+ship refurbished
Wiring:$50
Blaupunkt mp3 head: new clearance $175+ship.
high level line level rca crossover: $10+ship.
Low level crossover built into head.
Total; $365, Purchased in pieces, but it works
and the small speaker don't buzz.
Hope that helps...
