With the price of R12 (origional freon) vs 134a (which has trippled in the last year alone) it is very cost effective to convert the system over to 134a. On a classic 900, the only thing you need to do is change the reciever dryer and add the service ports to the ac compressor. When you charge it, be sure to use a refrigerent with leak dye in it. This will show where the leak in the system is. What I usually do with a known leaky system is just shoot one can into the system and let that point out where the leak is.
