...no matter what year or make or model they're on. Did the new pads come with a little pouch of goop to spread on the back of the pads? This is common, and is meant to dampen the small vibration that makes squeaks. If you ask at a parts counter they probably have the stuff - - you let it set up before installing the pads.
Also helpful is the little tin backing plates that are on many cars new from factory but get thrown away at the first pad change by some mechanics, or that rust past usable. They muffle vibrtion too, and you could cut something similar out of a tin can with tin snips, or out of aluminum flashing with scissors. Spreading the goop between them and the back of the pads as well really helps.
Or try another brand pad; some are highly recommended on this site. (Go to NG 900 bulletin board first.) Do a search under brake pads. It's partly the friction characteristics of the pad on the disk that make the squeaks, and all pads are different.
Or you could just wait it out. Once pads bed in to the rotors and both lose any surface glaze your squeak might go away.
