hey guys, i'm looking to get back into saabs, and i've looked at a 1990 talladega red SPG. the main problem with the car appears to be that the abs isn't functioning. the seller says that it is something as simple as the driver's side wheel sensor. i had an '85 turbo a couple years ago so i never had to deal with abs, but i realize that it can be expensive to diagnose and repair. my concern, though, is with the rock-hard brake pedal. after searching this board, it seems like saabs w/ abs tend to have stiffer brake pedals? but this car's pedal has no travel at all. it functions like a button and is very difficult to modulate and control. does this seem normal, or does it sound like the power brake booster isn't working? a brake booster problem could be related to the non-functioning abs, right? the seller says that new front rotors and pads were installed in the past year, and that the brake pedal has always felt so stiff. what do you guys think? is this something that sounds like an immediately expensive problem for someone who is a non-diy-er? TIA
