Bentley let me down!! Removing power side mirrors

The Bentley manual mentions the mirrors, but it never actually tells you how to remove them. How do you remove the power side mirrors from an 86 900? I want to replace mine, as they have become wobbly after 300K miles, and i have a donor car ready to give them up.
Thanks for any help.
Scotty
