Anti-Freeze Switch Adjustment ... Up-Date

I had enquired as to whether anyone had been able to adjust the anti-freeze switch to deliver colder air.
Anders suggested moving the probe capillary to a different position in the evaporator core, as per an old service bulletin.
While extracting the capillary tube, it occured to me that perhaps the same result was possible by not leaving the tube as deeply embedded in the core. So, I withdrew almost an inch (20mm) and left it like that.
In 90 deg F ambient air, the chilled air temp went from 48 deg F to 40 deg F. Not quite in the "Stiff Nipples" zone, but definately better.
