Remove the plug wires as the motor is in the 3 cylinder mode. The one that does not make a change is probably the one that has a problem. Swap ignition wires temporarily to see if it stays with the cylinder, or the wire. Wire problems need to have the wire replaced with a good one. A cylinder misfire problem could be a bad spark plug and I would suspect a bad plug, if the motor was running good before. I had a spark plug insulator crack and the insulator fell down over the electrode gap, hence smothering the spark at idle, but not when revving the motor. Another area to check is the mechanical cam timing versus the crank position. One tooth offset on the timing makes a big difference, check and recheck to verify it is good. Remember, the crank is the driving shaft and the cams are the driven shafts. This is important.
