OK MY 88 SPG HAS JUST BASE BOOST . I REPLACED THE STARTER THE OTHER DAY AND
I MAY HAVE DROPPED THE STARTER ON THE KNOCK SENSOR HARNESS WIRE PULLING AT IT A TAD !!!! MORE LIKE A LOT . THE VINYL COATING ON THE WIRE NOW SHOW SHOWS BARE COPPER , COULD THAT CONSIDERED AN OPEN CIRCUIT ?
I HAVE HAD BASE BOOST IN THE PAST . THE FIX WAS JUST A LITTLE ELECTRIC CONTACT CLEANER SPRAYED IN THE KNOCK SENSOR AND BOOST WAS BACK .
SHOULD I REPLACE THE HARNES OR JUST SOLDERDER UP THO OPEN BUT NOT BROKEN WIRE.
