I'll take a stab at this, but no guarantee..... Posted by vsfoxe [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Will a 92 9000T CD Player fit a 92 900s?, CarolinaSaaber, Sat, 16 Jul 2005 12:49:40 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
First, I'm assuming your 900 has an equalizer, so you can swap it out for a 9000 CD-Player. Right?
I THINK things will interchange if they both have a "single" plug (visible when CD or EQ is removed from the rack/basket).
I THINK things will also interchange if each has a "double" plug (two vertical rows of connectors adjacent to each other).
one way to tell, or:
Remove both Racks. One type has a round 12-pin connector and a 2-prong white connector. The other type has color-wrapped wires (three) going to it - Yellow, Red, and Blue. If the units in question have the same type of wiring, they'll interchange. If the wiring seems different (as described), they won't interchange.
