Turn on the A/C....both should run

If the A/C is operational, when you turn it on both fans should run. You can also test it by making some leads to run from the battery to the fan. Unplug the fan and insert the leads to the connector. If it does not run....it's shot.
My '94 conv. is set up to have both fans come on during the cooling cycle...don't know if it came like this from the factory or not...I never have modified it to run this way, but previous owner could have.
My '90 was not set up like this however...only one fan cycled during cooling...which is the way I believe they were intended to run. However, there is an easy way to get both fans to come on during the cooling cycle which is a good thing to do....car cools faster and saves wear on the one fan.
Do a search here for the procedure.
