What I learned...
There may be more than one Walbro pump, differing by the exact configuration of outlet nozzle &/or electrical terminals. Sometimes it's easy to adapt. Mine was only slightly different in the shape of the terminals.
When you dismantle the plastic basket around the pump, be careful about breaking the mounting tabs for the little jetpump nozzle that sticks into the side of the basket. Twelve-year-old plastic that's been sitting in gasoline...
My '89 had a rubber hose inside the basket, maybe '93 had that hard stuff??? Maybe you can use rubber if you break it.
Mine was apart for a couple days, & all the rubber parts in the basket shrank. Drove me nuts until I soaked them in a jar of gasoline for several hours to make them swell up again.
Mine had a metal crimp-collar around the hose nipple. It was uncomfortably close to the electrical connections, so I used a nylon wire-tie. Guess what? It swelled up & the hose fell off. Had to use metal hose clamp but be careful about orientation being too close to the wiring.
