It is a premolded thin rigid cover which goes over your existing dash. When I covered by dash (85) about 6 years ago I used the full version of the cover by Accu-Form (accuformplastics.com). It covered the top, sides and lower trim bottom all around the instrument panel. At the time it was about $100 and was garanteed for life. The other version of this is the dash cap made by the same people, like the model #1502. It covers the top and part way down the sides. Sold by dash-caps.com. The advice of replace or cover is valid. Repair is not....Dana
