Opinions I can give you - I got lots of 'em :-)

My question for you is "How comfortable do you feel with having your SPG as the sole transportation?" Any transmission noises that will require a cash infusion? Any worrysome things like rust in bad places or cracks in the lower A-arms?

FWIW, I'm OK with having my '89 (around 160k miles) as my daily driver, but my wife's car is available for backup in case the transmission locks up in traffic (and I survive all of the trucks rear-ending the car.)

Even if it's in great shape, relying on a car with that many miles can be a crapshoot.
