My boost gauge would 'stick' like yours. Once in a while it would be back at zero when I went out to the car in the morning. I eventually bought an aftermarket boost gauge at PepBoys until I decide what to do with the original.
My intent has been to perform the major surgery needed to extract the gauge from the cluster and run some solvent into the vacuum port to see if that loosens things up a bit.
Alternatively, I've considered running a little solvent into the gauge vacuum port (witout disassembling the dash) via the vacuum hose and hope it gets sucked back out when I run the engine.
For now, the aftermarket gauge sets on my dash with the vacuum line running out of the speaker grill. Makes me feel like a hotrodding teenager all over again...and it gets some raised eyebrows from other Saabers in traffic.
