I'm currently installing a new stereo system in my 85' 900t and I found it very difficult to fit 4x10's. So I went out and bought some 4x6in speakers and then installed the 4x10's I had gotten on the rear shelf. I ended up going with Sony xplode's for the front (painless installation) I installed Xover's to block the bass in the front and decided to put two mtx 10'' subs in the rear hatch just behind the rear seats. And instead of using a cd-player I decided to build myself a CAR-puter with a touch screen on the dash. In order to have plenty of manual control over my speakers, I got an 8-ch clarion equalizer with separate volume and bass controls. It's getting there but my point is, If I can do all of this crazy stuff, it should be a very simple operation for you if you just take your time and stay patient
