I think they have the car up on a lift and work the wrench standing up on their own two feet, not lying down under or stretched out over the fender and reaching under. In my (relatively rare) experience, I've found the sensor to come loose remarkably easy for something that's in the hottest part of the exhaust and been there so long. Credit the stainless steel construction and use of anti-seize on initial assembly. All the sensors I've seen admittedly just a couple) come with an appropriate amount of anti-sieze already applied to the threads.
