Tyler,
Put one finger on the battery and your toungue on the starter solenoid. It will start every time. (-: Anyway, I am actually not sure you can just short two of the wires momentarily to start the car. Certain systems in the car need juice when the car is running (like the ignition system). this is why the car turns off when you turn off the key....it kills power to ignition system. You would probably have to figure out which wires need to be connected 100% of the time while running and connect them together. Then after you have figured that out "jump" the wires for the starter to crank the motor. I dont have any wiring diagrams with me so I am no help on which wires. If you are mechanically inclined changing the lock cylinder isnt that big of a deal.
