85 Turbo
Specifically, who has successfully set the AIC duty cycle to 33%? My O2 sensor is fluctuating between .2 and .8 volts at idle but my AIC duty cycle is 17 % or 78% depending on which lead I connect to which wire on the AIC. (swapping leads between wires 2 and 3) Just bought a brand new top-o-the line Crafstman meter with temperature and duty cycle readouts, so I’m guessing that the meter is not at fault.
Does anyone really know how to use the LH test socket? Mine has three wires and the Bentley says red/green goes to the fuel pump relay, green goes to pin 22 of the ECU and violet/white goes to pin 19 of the ECU.
And where exactly is this elusive single connector test wire that you ground during the idle setting procedure? I have some very long coiled up brown wire just hanging near the power steering reservoir that I can’t figure out.
My idle air bypass screw is all the way in and I have my idle screw backed all the way out but still, once the car in warm the engine idles at about 1100 rpm instead of 850.
I’m getting tired of messing with it and am going to go do my suspension work. It would be nice to have the definitive answer though. What meter leads to you touch to which wires etc..
