Ok, so my c900 vert has that taupe (spelling) color interior. Seats are beat, but i had the bottoms redone with vinyl. Dont look that bad, dont look that good...now the backs are all crapping out, you know the story...

So today a 9000 get dropped off at my frieds shop - its got taupe. Or whatever that color is. Seats are in really good shape - both need baskets, but hey, they are saab seats afterall. Seat backs are like new. I cant believe me eyes. so i start thinking - hey will they fit?

I measure the bolt witdth, and it looks like they will fit. 18 1/2 inches or so beween bolts. They look the same.

Of course - they arent. The 9000 seats have those programmable options that my 900 doesent have. Ugh. and wait, the seatbelts attatach to the seats? Now im thinking im in over my head.

Surely someones been here before and has some suggestions.

I think in the end i might have to take the covers off the bottoms, and if possible, attatch the seat backs to my bottoms (if they fit..)

If you have tried this, or have any ideas please shoot me a line!

My other option is to pay 300 bucks to have the backs redone in vinyl on my seats. UGH. 600 total for vinyl seats? There's gotta be a better way.
