Before installing, stick end in a vise, egg-shape it, then cram a block of wood in and squeeze to achieve final shape. Practise first on a scrap piece of new exhaust pipe or adapter sleeve. Need to determine which way is up, down and sideways so it ends up aligned right. Exhaust tubing when new is remarkably ductile or whatever you'd call it, willing to be stretched and re-formed.
