I'm finally around to replacing oil seals/oil pump o-ring on my 88' 900s (I'm following Townsend info), when I got the crank pulley off, I noticed the oil leak there is not as bad as I thought it would be, replacing anyway since some oil leaking there, but now I'm wondering if oil leak could be the timing cover, head gasket or timing chain tensioner seal. The question is- can I replace the tensioner seal without causing a problem with the chain adjustment or will I have to adjust? The car runs great just leaks oil. Any advice greatly appreciated!
