Saabers....My 79 B engine was running decent aside from a occasional erractic conditon unitl it warmed, then the engine ran better. Now the conditon is terrible. I am not sure if it was my doing,( would run the car close to E, and used 89 octane.) now the engine dies immediatly after about six or seven cranks int he morning, then it idles terribly erractic at about 500 rpms..(I have to press the accelerator pedal) Upon driving, the engine runs terrible... The engine will die if I dont baby the pedal at the lights. the car bucks and lurch and hesitates. I want to keep the original B engine for originality. I have driven the B engine Saabs over fifteen years, yet I always recall that the 79 and 80 Turbo models having problems as this is the early lambda system. I noticed that if I connect the O2 sensor, the engine ran erractic hence it is disconnected. Any ideas of what is causing the problem and how to best tune the B turbo would be great!
Thanks
