High idle woes need divine intervention

Hi. I own a 1989 900s with a high idle condition. When the car is started from a cold condition it idles perfectly (850 rpm) and when it warms up in a few minutes it will go to about 1100 rpm and the warmer it gets it will eventually reach about 1400 rpm. If I run the A/C it idles perfectly all the time. I ran a diagnostic and it gave two codes, it indicated a fast idle and an improper fuel mixture when car is moving. Now I have checked for vacuum leaks (with Propane and mechanically checking it) and found none, I have replaced the O2 sensor, the NTC sensor, the plugs, wires, cap and rotor. I have cleaned the throttle valve, exchanged the AMM and even put in another ecu from another 1989 900s with no change. If I squeeze the AIC valve hose with pliers the idle will decrease. Is the AIC (yes I cleaned it and even tried 3-4 from junk yard cars) the culprit? If it is why does the car idle correctly when it is cold and when the A/C is on? An AIC is about $150 and would be expensive to replace if that wasn't the problem.

Any ideas out there would be wonderful and perhaps divinely inspired!
