you guys are usually great with help.. but since I didn't get anyone to really help me out, I had to post this a second time..
I'm desperate for advice as I need to get my car back together..
looked at other posts on this topic, but couldn't find any answers..
ok.. I have a brand new dual terminal sender.. new oil and saab filter, new wires and connects on ens and a used "saab" VDO oil pressure gauge.
I double checked the ground and pos wire and they are good..
thought maybe I have the warning light wire and the pressure gauge wires mixed up so I switched then and nothing..
the used gauge is getting power as when I switch the ignition on I see the initial flux of electricity flicker the needle, but it doesn't move at all.. not even when giving gas.. I get nothing.
the other two gauges work good.. a new boost gauge and voltometer.. I hooked up the dimmers and power wires properly (thanks to previous posts on here)
only problem seems to be this oil pressure gauge.. to me it's the most important gauge too..
could I have hooked up the sender wrong? I have the two dual terminals facing downward towards the air filter area.. as if I tried to make them face up, they would hit the rubber hose for the coolant reserve.
if anyone can give me any advice, I would greatly appreciate it as it's driving me nuts..
