This was one of my first projects for my car, and with a little help from fellow "Saabers" here, it was very easy. First off, your car is pre-wired for fog lights/driving lights. This means that behind the driving lights/blank switch on the left side of your steering wheel is the wiring to attach to your prospective fog light switch. I bought mine on ebay, popped out the blank and the driving light switch (just to give me more room), fished out the plug, and plugged it in!! Next, you need a relay and a fuse. I went to Napa to get both, but the relay they gave me did'nt work right. I read in here that the horn relay is the same as the relay for the fog lights, so I took my horn relay and put it in the fog light spot and wallah, it workded like a champ!! Added a fuse in the spot marked for fog lights and moved on. I purchased on ebay a used 87 turbo fog light bracket and wiring set, which had the metal brackets, and the plug to positive and negative wires included. The existing plugs are located below/to either side of your fans, just sitting there waiting. To attach the brackets I simply removed to front bumper IAW my Hanes book (4 bolts VERY easy!!), and bolted the brackets to holes there for that very purpose. Now you mentioned driving lights. If you want driving lights vs fogs, you can probably reverse the brackets to point up vs down, have'nt tried that. Anyway, with the brackets on, I was going to get Bosch or other OEM lights, but they were more then I wanted to pay. So I got nice 55W OEM look-a-likes from Napa for 30 bucks, and using shrink-wrap and some tie wraps to secure the wiring, hooked em right up. I am very happy the way they look, light, and the fact that I DIMS!!(did it my self!!) Good luck!!
