The bottom line is the sender is matched to the gauge. Summit racing lists different senders for an 80psi vs a 150psi gauge. My take on it is you will get an inaccurate reading if you put the wrong gauge on your sender. Do you KNOW what gauge your sender is calibrated to?
I'd find out and get the correct gauge or if it is not, (you don't need a 150psi oil gauge for one thing...80 is more than enough!!).
