I have found a few interesting thing out: when taking an O2 sensor out of a 1990 SPG in New England,
1) remove the passenger side headlight and you can get a breaker bar on the 22mm socket wrench. If you don't have a breaker handy, you can get your foot in there and push.
2) That is of course, if you think that for some reason you won't completely destroy the threads in the exhaust elbow flange getting the O2 sensor out.
3) It would be much easier therefore to just buy a new flange with your new O2 sensor, b/c it takes 3 minutes to get the elbow off, another 3 to get a new O2 sensor in the new elbow, and 3 more minutes to put the completed setup back onto the turbo. Chances are, if the O2 sensor is original, it will either not come out wihtout the biggest fight of your life, and when it does you will most likely destroy the threads in the elbow.

Now that I have shared this will all of you, does anyone know where to find an exhuast elbow flange, with no O2 sensor, that would fit a 1990 SPG? B/c I didn't know any of this an hour ago. Thanks!
