Youmight remember that I struggled with a decision to replace the head gasket. I couldn't determine for sure what my problem was because everything seemd so intermittent. Overheating every once in a while, rough start every once in a while, over pressureized coolant reservoir, slight oil residue in the reservoir, and stsuff like that. I took the leap based on all you guys' advice. Well, it was good I did. I had a small leak but looked like it was ready to go. And in the process I got a concession from my indie that the HG really needed to be changed, and also he found a loose ground that solved a "galluping" at idle. Now she runs great, strong, no RPM hunting at idle, and life is good, until the next problem. And with these neat cars there are always opportunities!
