Specifically for RS [or anybody else who has an idea], I have looked through several sites for the name/description of the SHIFT ROD COUPLER [ex. Euro's ordering section where you choose the name and get a picture] and have it seemingly narrowed in the Transmission Area]. However, I don't have it narrowed right down to the exact part or name. In the 88, the part came unnamed off my buddy's work bench. At that time, after we had restored 5th gear, his response was he had never seen that problem before. As I mentioned earlier, that car went over 270K with me and was retired after a wall ended its career on a local racing circuit. That must have been 10-12 years ago. Thanks W.B.
