You should make sure you clean any carbon deposition from the oil inlet to outlet on the turbo. Then, before you start your engine, pull the fuel pump fuse, pull the plugs out, and run the starter up to activate the oil into the system. Check the freedom of the impeller, and feel it while the oil is circulating. Make sure you check for leaks while under pressure. Put in the plugs and fuse, start it up, and wait for some oil to burn out of it. If the smoke clears, and there is not any horrific noises coming from the turbo, you probably have it licked. By the way, pay close attention to the coolant inlet and outlet -- after your coolant system comes up to pressure, make sure there are no leaks there either.
