Don't know what the fan requirements would be and what's out there, but could a low-drag in-line electric fan be put into the intake between AMM and turbo, and somehow integrated into things, to give quicker low RPM boost, overcoming turbo lag? (Then quickly dropping out.)
Now here's a project worth the attention of the guy that wanted to put an electric water pump into his 900. Maybe he could be inspired to try this instead. I know, I'll call the stock turbos "problematic" and that will hook him.
Probably wye it in and wye it back out of the airstream, with some kind of either-or valves each end, so it wouldn't wear out spinning when not needed and so it wouldn't need the sort of oil-fed bearing lube the turbo fan does. Or, have it mechanically lock up when not in use; though it would add some drag, your spun-up turbo would overcome that.
Way too many technical problems, besides how to trigger and cut it off, or I guess it would have long ago been done.
