I have a 1992 900s 5 speed. I am having a problem with the shifting of the gears. I have opened up inside the console so I can see through to the trans. When I move the shifter back and forth the shifting rod just seems to flop all over. What is that part called that holds the shifter in place between the firewall and trans? I also read you can fix it temp with plastic ties. correct thanks for any advice
