Make sure to get all the glass out of the bottom of the door frame. Just this week I pieced together that the periodic flooding of my passenger seat footwell was due to the drain holes on the bottom of that door being plugged to a large measure by the safety glass crumbs from when someone broke into my car to steal my wife's purse out of the footwell (do you think I ever asked her not to leave her purse there?).
Once you think you have all the glass out of the door lie on your back and tap the bottom of the door with a rubber mallet. You will hear glass moving around toward the drain holes. Taking a shop vac and cover most of a crevice tool with your finger while sucking the drain holes. You will get more glass out. You may want to widen the holes with a screw driver. Just keep working it out. You will be happy you did when you don't have to remove the carpet and dry out the padding the next time it rains hard!!!
