Surprised again on vbelts and ac tensioner.

I've owned this 87 900T since 1992 and it seems things I've done once keep coming around. I could have sworn I put in a brand new AC belt tensioner a few years ago rather than lubing the old one and I just noticed the new one is noisy when I removed it to get easy access to the power steering belt (which had flipped itself over) that I have to replace (bought a new AC belt and then when it came to putting it on the PS belt was bad). The alternator belts are fine, the new ps belt went on relatively easy, and then the AC tensioner jumps up. I could have sworn I had less than 60K and four years on all four belts!
I squirted some 15W/40 synthetic oil on the shaft and let it sit (off the engine) for awhile while I did the ps belt. Then spinning the pulley it quieted down and ran smoothly. Put the belt on the engine and the tensioner and tensioned the belt (did the ps too!) and everything seems to run smoothly...quieter than I remember. I wonder how long that tensioner pulley will last....perhaps it's come down to a squirt of oil every 10K on that shaft...LOL.
Or else it's disassemble the tensioner pulley and remove the crappy OEM bearing and replace it with a good one and then either rivet or bolt the pulley back together. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it!!
