Hi Guys!
I did some more checking. I checked the resistor pack with an ohm meter and have continuity through all coils. My test light shows that all coils have current passing through them also when the fan switch is at position 1 (what I earlier called the 7:00 position). Now should the contact point be open at ambient temperatures? There appears to be about a 1/4 of an inch gap cold.
Also, I don't know of another 900 I could look at, but starting from the top of the ventilation fan main switch, there is a large gray wire connected to the top terminal. The next wire down is violet and below it is a smaller gage gray wire. Continuing down, the next terminal has nothing hooked to it, and below it is another violet wire. Finally, the last terminal from the top has both a yellow and a violet wire hooked to it.
Thanks!
